As part of their new Irish Winter 2018 schedule, Ryanair has launched nine new routes and more flights on 11 other routes on Monday.
The new flights will be from Dublin, Shannon, Cork, Knock and Kerry airports, as Ryanair grows by 5% in Ireland.
The winter schedule is as follows:
Dublin:
7 new routes: Athens (2 weekly), Bari (2 weekly), Frankfurt (2 daily), Luxembourg (3 weekly), Marrakesh (2 weekly), Paphos (1 weekly) and Santander (2 weekly)
More flights on 11 other routes: Barcelona (3 daily), Birmingham (6 daily), Budapest (2 daily), Cologne (2 daily), Faro (2 daily), Krakow (2 daily), Lanzarote (8 weekly), Madrid (3 daily), Malaga (9 weekly), Manchester (6 daily) and Venice (3 weekly)
Shannon:
11 routes in total including: Lanzarote (1 weekly), London Stansted (2 daily) and Krakow (2 weekly)
Cork:
1 new route to Faro (2 weekly)
9 routes in total including: Malaga (2 weekly), London Gatwick (1 daily) and Gran Canaria (1 weekly)
915,000 customers p.a. (+3%)
700* “on-site” jobs p.a.
Knock:
1 new route to Bristol (3 weekly) 6 routes in total including: East Midlands (4 weekly), Liverpool (6 weekly) and Lanzarote (1 weekly)
Kerry:
3 routes in total: Frankfurt-Hahn (2 weekly), London Luton (6 weekly) and London Stansted (4 weekly)
Ryanair’s Kenny Jacobs said:
“We are pleased to launch our biggest ever Irish Winter 2018 schedule, which includes 9 new routes and more flights on 11 other routes, which will deliver 15.6 million customers p.a. and support 11,700 jobs at Dublin, Shannon, Cork, Knock and Kerry airports, as Ryanair grows by 5% in Ireland.
"Ryanair customers already spend €2 billion in Ireland, and this 5% growth in traffic will facilitate an additional €200 million in spending by international tourists.
