This Dublin Hospital’s Food Is Getting Rave Reviews After Chef’s Video Went Viral

Hospital food is not known for its culinary delights. On the one occasion I was subjected to it several years ago, I was very much scarred by how grim it was. But the Rotunda Hospital in Dublin is making waves with its refreshing approach to food, always making sure to serve up fresh, healthy meals. The hospital’s executive chef, Joyce, recently shared a video from their kitchen and commented, ‘Rotunda patient food hand carved and plated up at ward. Never travels in a hotbox, plated and straight to patient. Keeping it fresh, fresh, fresh.’

Joyce added that they also offer vegan and vegetarian options and said, ‘Hopefully in the near future we have an a la carte menu and food will be produced when ordered.’
