It will remembered as one of the most talked-about events of summer 2017 and two months later tongues are still wagging about the Conor McGregor v Floyd Mayweather fight in Las Vegas on August 26.

Mayweather came out on top after ten rounds but McGregor surprised many by lasting so long and putting up a such a good fight against his undefeated opponent.

However, prominent boxing commentator Jim Lampley reckons it was all a fix and Mayweather only allowed the fight to go on for so long in order to keep audiences happy.

In a seemingly impromptu interview with TMZ Sports, the veteran broadcaster said:

"He allowed Conor to quote 'win' 3 rounds so that the whole global MMA community could have something to latch on to.

"I think there's a decent chance there's enough suckers out there Floyd could maybe make another $150 million, why not?"
