The creator of Postman Pat and Rosie & Jim has died aged 85.
John Cunliffe, also starred alongside the two ragdolls in the show and was affectionately known as 'Fizgog'.
An obituary in his local paper, the Ilkley Gazette, said the author "left his Ilkley home in a deluge of rain on the 20th of September never to return".
RIP Fizgog.
