When it comes to sporting star power, it doesn't get much bigger than this combo.
Conor McGregor, the pride of Crumlin and perhaps the biggest Irish name on the planet right now, was visited in his Las Vegas gym over the weekend by none other than the world's most famous tax-compliant footballer – Cristiano Ronaldo.

Hopefully someone explained to Cristiano that that's a good thing in Irish-English.
Meanwhile, McGregor's coach John Kavanagh – who's been getting plenty of attention of his own recently thanks to the launch of his must-read biography, Win or Learn – also managed to grab a moment with the Real Madrid star.
