PIC: Can You Guess Why The Gardai Pulled Over And Seized This Scooter?

While we all know you need a license and insurance to drive a car, did you know you also need them to drive an electric scooter on a public road?

Nah, us neither.

The Gardai tweeted that they seized this mechanically propelled scooter on a public road, citing the legalities around electric scooters:

"The driver would also require a driving licence and is obliged to wear a crash helmet. If the user of such a scooter cannot fulfil these legal requirements, then the scooter should only be used on private property."
