Met Eireann has issued updated weather warnings for various counties in Ireland and has also issued an orange weather warning for two counties.
The Status Orange Wind Warning is for just Donegal and Mayo and is in place from 1am Friday morning until 8am Friday morning.
They say that:
"This warning pertains to coastal regions and high ground in these areas: Southwest winds will reach mean speeds of 65 to 80km/h with gusts of 110 to 130km/h overnight and early tomorrow.
"There is also a risk of coastal damage on exposed northwest coasts due to a combination of winds, high spring tides and high storm surge."
As well as this, a Status Yellow Wind Warning has been extended for Connacht, Cavan, Donegal, Clare, Kerry and Limerick.
Southwest winds will reach mean wind speeds between 55 to 65km/h with gusts of 90 to 110km/h during the period in these counties and will be strongest near coasts where these limits may be exceeded at times.
That particular warning is in place from Thursday at 10pm until Friday afternoon at 12pm.
This comes after a Weather expert warned that Ireland could be faced with a "possible Storm".
