Today is lovely and mild, with temperatures to reach as high as 13 degrees in the afternoon.
Sadly the good weather won't last long, as tomorrow night is set to be freezing cold.
"There is a risk of frost and icy patches on untreated surfaces," said Met Eireann.
"Minimum temperatures between minus 2 and plus 2 celsius in parts of the south and east, with 3 to 5 degrees more typical further north and west."
Tuesday is predicted to be similarly chilly, with showers turning wintry overnight.
Wednesday will see some heavy showers, hail and sleet, with snow possible on higher ground.
"Afternoon temperatures just 2 to 5 degrees Celsius in general, but 6 or 7 degrees Celsius more typical near the south coast, but feeling colder due to wind chill," said the forecast.
"Gusty westerly winds will be up to gale force near the Atlantic coastal fringes."
Wet and windy weather is likely later in the week too, but look on the bright side - January will finally be over!
