Met Eireann has issued nine counties with a rainfall warning for Wednesday and it's not good news if you reside in the west of Ireland.
Just days after
Storm Dennis battered the country, Met Eireann has issued a status yellow rainfall warning for the five counties of Connacht as well as Longford, Donegal, Clare and Kerry. That covers pretty much the whole of the west, with the western tip of Cork seemingly getting away with things, for now at least.
The advisory was issued at 11am today and will be valid from 4am on Wednesday until 4am on Thursday.

The warning comes amid another miserable week of weather forecasts for Ireland, with snow, sleet and thunder set to be characteristics of the coming days.
We may have seen the back of Storm Ciara and Storm Dennis but
UK forecasters are already talking about the arrival of Storm Ellen in the coming week. The sooner spring arrives, the better.
