Murder Investigation In India As Body Of Irish Woman Found

A murder investigation is underway in India after the body of a 28-year-old Irish woman was found in Goa

The Times Of India are reporting that the woman was found at a woody spot near some fields by a passer-by who notified the police. 

Police are trying to ascertain whether a sexual assault took place. 

The Department of Foreign Affairs has said the Irish embassy in New Delhi is liaising with officials in relation to the reports.
