Met Éireann Issues Orange Weather Warning For ‘Severe Thunderstorm Activity’

What is going on, lads? We thought we'd left all these weather warnings behind us. Fresh from the status yellow rainfall warning earlier today, Met Éireann has now issued a status orange for what is expected to be 'severe thunderstorm activity' this evening.

The warning is valid from 3pm until 10pm on Friday and is expected to affect the following counties:

Cavan, Monaghan, Donegal, Dublin, Carlow, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Wexford, Wicklow, Westmeath, Leitrim, Roscommon, Sligo, Cork, Tipperary
