Just when we started to enjoy a bit of ever-so-slightly mild weather, it looks like it's coming to an end.

Met Éireann has issued a status-yellow weather warning for the entire country, and it looks like it's going to be baltic tonight.

They have forecast that temperatures will drop to -3 degrees tonight, and can be expected to stay low until tomorrow morning at around 10am.

However, you can rest assured that tomorrow might be slightly nicer, as it is set to be a mostly dry day with sunny spells.

Met Éireann's forecast reads: "Frost and any lingering mist and fog patches will clear in the morning and it will be another largely dry day with sunny spells."

"The odd isolated shower will occur along the south and east coast in an onshore light to moderate south to southeast breeze. Top temperatures will be 7 to 9 degrees Celsius."
