Don't get us wrong, we are not saying that everyone who fits any if not all of these types are going to cheat, but they are worth keeping an extra eye out for.

Whimn have done some research and discovered that there are six types of men who are most likely to cheat on their partners.

So, if you are going out with a 6ft 5, 29-year-old, Guns 'n' Roses loving, Twitter using, computer worker... you may want to look away now.

Taller Lads

They say that studies done by Illicit Encounters - a discreet and confidential extra marital affairs dating service for women and men - show that men who are over 6ft are two times more likely to cheat.

Rock lovers

In the same survey, it was found that nearly half of the people on the site had rock music down as an interest.

The IT crowd

Moss and Roy from the hit Channel 4 show may seem like two straightforward guys but an Ashley Madison survey - another married dating service - found that men who work in IT are more likely to be unfaithful.

All the 9's.

In a study published by Proceedings of the Natural Academy of Sciences, people whose age ends in nine (19, 29, 39, you get the drift) are more likely to be unfaithful.

They guessed that the reason for this was because they were about to enter a new decade and wanted a moment of spontaneity and risk before turning over into a new zero.

Twitter users

A study by the University of Missouri found that there was a correlation between the amount of time someone spends on Twitter and the likelihood of them having relationship problems such as cheating.

Now, there is a big difference between correlation and causation but it still probably best to stay at arm's length from people who have full on Twitter arguments with random strangers over football.
