Listen up, stargazers.
Tonight is one of the biggest nights of the year as the Perseid meteor shower is set to peak.
Perseid meteors which are 'caused by debris left behind by the Comet Swift-Tuttle, began streaking across the skies in late July and will peak on the night of August 12'.
It is often considered to be the best due to its size and the fact it happens during the summer months.
Unfortunately, there is also a full moon tonight which will decrease the visibility rates from 60 per hour to just 15-20 per hour.
Nonetheless, this is set to be some spectacle as the skies are meant to stay clear. It is to be most visible tonight, going into tomorrow morning with the peak time being around 2am.
