A 22-year old man who was stabbed in County Kilkenny on Saturday evening remains in a critical condition in St Luke’s General Hospital.
The young man was seriously injured during the incident which happened at Love Lane, Castlecomer some time around 6pm.
Three men were arrested by Gardaí, two of which are in their 30s and one in his 40s, in relation to the accident, but were released without charge.
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses who may have been in the Love Lane area between 5pm and 7pm on Saturday to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 777 5000, the Garda Confidential Telephone Line on 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
