Someone in Ireland is much, much richer after the numbers for the €6m Lotto draw were made on Wednesday night.

Someone matched five numbers and the Bonus in the main draw to collect a cool €148,179.

The numbers in the main draw were: 4, 6, 16, 34, 38, 39 and the bonus was 42 but there was no main winner.

In the Lotto Plus 1 draw, the numbers were: 3, 11, 30, 40, 41, 45 and the bonus was 36 while in the Lotto Plus 2 draw the numbers were 5, 9, 11, 33, 36, 43 and the bonus was 27.

There was no jackpot winners in either of those draws.

The winning raffle number was 9164 and there were 74 winners of the Raffle Prize each receiving €500 each.

One lucky Irish Euromillions winner from last week was delighted with their €500,000 cash prize.

They bought their ticket at Circle K in Kill, Co Kildare and said that they had absolutely no idea that they had a winning ticket in their possession.

"I was killing a little bit of time during a break from work and I spotted my EuroMillions ticket in my wallet.

"My heart absolutely stopped when I scanned the ticket on my phone, I hadn’t a clue how much I had won until I called the National Lottery, it’s just an unbelievable start to the weekend.

"I’ve had to keep it to myself in work but I quietly called my wife who still doesn’t believe. She’ll get some shock when I arrive home with a cheque for a half million euro."
