Ah, you love to hear it. The high temperatures and sunny weather is expected to continue for the rest of the week, Met Éireann predicts.
Rain and drizzle will continue over Atlantic Coastal counties today before clearing during the afternoon. Further east, it's drier, warmer and sunnier with spells of sunshine and isolated showers in light to moderate easterly breeze. Highs of 18 to 22 degrees are forecasted.
Tomorrow is looking cloudy with "showery outbreaks of rain spreading northwards during the day, heavy and thundery at times with the risk of spot flooding. Dry spells will develop through the afternoon in Munster, Leinster and Connacht as the rain moves northwards. Highest temperatures of 16 to 20 degrees generally in moderate to fresh easterly winds, but warmer over Ulster under the early afternoon sunshine before the rain arrives."
For Wednesday, Met Éireann predicts that it will be "largely cloudy with just occasional clear spells. Showers over Ulster will clear northwards early on, leaving a generally dry night, but further scattered showers will develop towards morning. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 13 degrees in light to moderate southerly."
While Thursday is set to look brighter with "a mix of sunny spells and scattered showers, most frequent over Munster and Connacht."
And Friday will be largely dry with sunny spells and the highest temperatures will be 14 to 17 degrees.
On Saturday, you can expect a mix of scattered showers and sunny spells with highs of 14 to 17 degrees over the northwestern half of the country, but warmer in the best of the sunny spells further southeast with highest temperatures of 17 to 19 degrees.
Sunday will also see temperatures in the mid to high teens with a mix of sunny and showery spells.
