Irish Professional Cycling Team’s Tour Bus Destroyed In “Cowardly” Arson Attack

The team bus of Irish professional cycling team Aqua Blue Sport has been completely destroyed in a suspected arson attack.

The Irish Independent reports that firefighters were called to the Tryp Indalo hotel on the Trevesia de San Luis in Spain at 1.20am this morning, where they discovered the cycling team's bus on fire.

Aqua Blue Sport posted images of the destroyed bus on Twitter, calling it a "cowardly attack", and confirming that no one was injured.

Spanish police are investigating and have arrested one suspect after there has reportedly been a series of arson attacks in the city.

The customised bus was fitted with an office, showers, changing rooms for the team and specialised cycle equipment, and it's expected that the damage will run into hundreds of thousands.
