As for the rest of the country, “it will be dry to start with some bright spells, but patchy rain will spread from the west during the afternoon and evening. Highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees with light to moderate southwest to west breezes.”
Heading into the weekend, Friday will be “Mostly dry with isolated showers. A good deal of cloud around with just occasional sunshine. Highs of 15 to 19 degrees with light northwest breezes.”
Saturday will bring a blast of heat, followed on Sunday by rather cloudy conditions with scattered outbreaks of rain or drizzle.
This will mainly affect west and northwest areas with brighter weather elsewhere and the odd shower.
Highs of 16 to 19 degrees are due, but it will be cooler for the north and west with light to moderate northwest winds.
