The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) revealed this morning that 11 Irish businesses were served with closure orders for breaches of food safety legislation for the month of May.

The businesses were located in Dublin (5), Cork, (2), Carlow, Galway, Wexford and Tipperary and they were:

  • Golden Beach Supermarket, 137 Parnell Street Dublin 1
  • Bella Roma, 45 Ballybough Road Dublin 3
  • Rock Kebab and Pizza, 101 Main Street Cashel Tipperary
  • Lucky Dragon 2, 70 Fassaugh Avenue Cabra Dublin 7
  • Derrynaflan Foods Ltd, CGI Foodpark Knockgriffin Midleton Cork
  • Sweetness Luxury Homemade Desserts, Ardcavan Wexford
  • Zaiqa Foods (New Aroma Foods Ltd) (Closed area: The retail butcher counter area) Unit D 18, South Ring West Business Park Tramore Road Cork
  • Blackchurch Inn, Naas Road Rathcoole County Dublin
  • Salthill Social, 14 Lenaboy Gardens Salthill Galway
  • D&G's Takeaway, No.5 Potato Market Carlow
  • Addison Lodge, 131 Botanic Road Glasnevin Dublin 9

The FSAI release a monthly update of closure orders which can be found on their website.

Establishments are served closure orders when it is deemed that the place might cause a grave or immediate danger to public health.
