This latest report has shone a very bad light on Ireland.
It has been revealed that Ireland's performance on climate action in order to tackle global warming has not been going as well as we had hoped for.
Our country has been officially ranked as the worst in the EU and among the worst in the world for climate action.
The Climate Change Performance Index (CCPI) 2019 said that although serious efforts are in place to reduce carbon emissions, Ireland will not be able to "achieve either its EU 2020 or 2030 targets”.
The CCPI has been looking at Ireland's performance since the mid-noughties but their analysis “results in a very low rating for Ireland’s national policy performance”.
This comes after it was announced that Dublin is officially the most expensive capital in the world for this, earlier last week.
As well as this, the capital came under fire for being one of the most expensive places in the world to buy a Christmas tree.
The average price of a Christmas tree in Dublin costs way more than it would in London or even New York.
