People have been traveling across the globe, often picking up a heap of germs along the way which are then spread across any surface which their hands come into contact with.
One would assume that the toilets are the filthiest place in airports but you might be shocked to learn that this actually isn't the case. According to InsuranceQuotes.com, the dirtiest places are actually the self check-in kiosks.

The second filthiest area of an airport is the armrest on the seats next to the gates while the water fountain button came in third.
