Storm Dennis will indeed affect parts of Ireland this weekend.
Following on from the arrival of Storm Ciara last weekend, Storm Dennis is fast approaching and is due to bring heavy rain and strong winds starting Saturday.
Met Eireann has yet to issue a weather warning regarding the storm but that could change as the weekend draws nearer.
"Storm Dennis is forecast to track to the north of Ireland and the UK over the weekend," said Dr Rónán Darcy, Meteorologist at
Met Eireann.

"It will likely bring periods of very wet and windy weather, with some stormy conditions possible, particularly later Sunday into Monday."
While Storm Dennis is not expected to be as extreme as Storm Ciara, it could well bring stormy winds to western coastal areas.
In terms of wind, Met Eireann predict "Gales are likely in coastal areas on Saturday with fresh to strong winds inland. Winds could increase further on Sunday, possibly becoming stormy, particularly along western coasts. It will be very gusty too over the weekend, with some damaging gusts possible."
There is also the possibility for flooding in certain areas due to the likelihood of significant rainfall over the weekend.
"Storm Dennis may also bring very wet conditions with localised flooding possible," Dr Darcy added.
"River levels are elevated across much of the midlands so any heavy rainfall would cause issues here."
