These Were The Hottest Places In Ireland Yesterday According To Met Éireann

While the weather has generally been warm in Ireland for some time now, yesterday was, shall we say, a bit different.

Even though the sun mostly was hidden behind dark, puffy clouds, people still arrived home from work in the evening dripping with the sweat (it wasn't just us, was it?)

But which part of the country got the stuffiest of the stuffy weather yesterday? Met Éireann has the answer.

According to the weather experts, the hottest temperature in the country on Monday was recorded at the Phoenix Park in Dublin where the mercury rose to a whopping 27.7 degrees.

Other high temperatures around Ireland were found at Oak Park in Carlow (26.1), Gurteen in Tipperary (23.9) and Cork Airport (22.0).
