Glorious – High Temperature Warning Issued Especially For These 14 Counties

If you're enjoying that lovely sunshine, you can expect it to last for just that little bit longer as Met Éireann have issued a high temperature warning 14 counties.

The Status Yellow warning is for: Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Offaly, Westmeath, Meath, Galway, Leitrim, Roscommon, Clare, Limerick and Tipperary

Highest temperatures on Wednesday are expected to reach 27 or 28 degrees and this warning is in place until 7pm on Wednesday evening.

Wednesday will be very warm and dry in most areas, with sunshine, but cloud will increase from the south and a few scattered showers will develop during the afternoon and evening in parts of Munster and South Leinster.

Maximum temperatures throughout the country will be 23 to 28 Celsius, warmest in the Midlands in mostly light variable winds, with local sea breezes and a light to moderate Northwesterly breeze developing along Atlantic coastal fringes.

Any residual showers in the south will die away on Wednesday evening and most places will start the night with clear spells.

Cloud and patches of mist will advance over western parts of the country overnight, producing the odd spot of drizzle where the cloud gets thick enough. Minimum temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees with light northwest breezes developing.
