Here’s Where Last Night’s €262k Winning Lotto Ticket Was Sold

Payday seems a long way away but there's at least one person in Ireland who won't be feeling the pinch today.

A player in Co. Monaghan matched five numbers and the bonus ball to scoop a whopping €262,429 on last night's Lotto.

The ticket was sold at Fleming's Supervalu on Church Square in Monaghan town and the lucky numbers were 5, 12, 24, 36, 37, 42 and bonus 4. Somewhat unfortunately for the winner, they were just one number short of the €2,836,472 jackpot which will now roll over to Wednesday.
