Car manufacturers Audi, BMW and Volkswagen are recalling a variety of models in Ireland over airbag concerns.
Both are being recalled in Ireland due to airbag and belt tensioner igniters being manufactured without strict adherence to the prescribed tolerances as the result of a change in the production process.
What this essentially means is that the airbag or seat belt may not work correctly in the case of an accident in affected vehicles.
Audi customers can contact Audi Ireland on 1850-812-760, Volkswagen Ireland on 1850-812-761 and BMW Ireland on 1890-719-421.
