Half A Million Quid Was Won In Ireland On Last Night’s Euromillions

Someone in Ireland is waking up today to the news that they are €500,000 richer.

The Euromillions jackpot wasn't won but one person matched five numbers to win the half a million quid prize.

We've checked and it's definitely not us but if you had the numbers 5, 9, 14, 40 and 50 then you might be able to spare us a fiver.

According to Lottery.ie, the lucky ticket was sold in the north east of the country.
