More rain? Oh, perfect.
Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow rainfall warning for five counties this weekend, predicting that heavy rainfall, thunder and spot flooding is on the way. Ideal, really.
In place from 2pm today, the warning covers Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow and Waterford and is in place until 8pm tonight. Also warning that spot flooding could be an issue, according to the national broadcaster:
"Heavy showers with localised thundery downpours will lead to accumulations of between 20-30mm with a risk of spot flooding."
In other words, best not leave the house without full, protective rain gear - think wellies, a raincoat, a brolly (preferably one strong enough to brave the wind).

Tonight looks to be mostly cloudy with scattered showers along the west coast, drier overall in the east and southeast. Lowest temperatures of 10 to 12 degrees. More of the same for tomorrow with Met Éireann writing:
"Tomorrow will be mostly cloudy with scattered showers to start, becoming more isolated in the morning with good sunny spells developing. However, cloud will increase in the southwest during the afternoon ahead of rain pushing in. Highest temperatures of 15 to 19 degrees in moderate to fresh westerly winds, fresher along northern coasts."
Higher temps and the promise of sun, perhaps it's not all bad.
