Gavin Duffy Secures Presidential Nomination From Meath County Council

Gavin Duffy has received the first endorsement from Meath county council in the Presidential election.

According to RTÉ news, he secured 17 votes, Sean Gallagher received seven and Senator Joan Freeman got two.

The prospective candidates are addressing a number of councils today including Leitrim, Meath, Wexford and Wicklow in an effort to garner their support.
