Gardaí have arrested 42 people in Kilkenny over the past three days as part of Operation Thor.
According to the
Irish Mirror, 23 were for crime offences and 19 were on warrants .
Operation Thor is a national anti-crime strategy which was launched in 2015.
Kilkenny officers searched 19 premises and seized illegal drugs with a street value of €14,500.
15 people have been charged with offences including breaches of theft, burglary, forgery, firearms offences and the Misuse of drugs act.
They will appear at Carlow District Court in the coming days.
