Gardaí have appealed for witnesses after a teenager was flung from a car during a high-speed chase yesterday. The young man is now fighting for his life in Tallaght Hospital while three other teenage men were arrested when their vehicle collided with another following a Garda pursuit. The collision occurred on the N7 Naas Road at approximately 3.45pm. Assistant Garda Commissioner John O'Driscoll said on RTÉ's Morning Ireland today that "three occupants were arrested on suspicion of burglary and another was taken to hospital". He added that the occupant of the other car involved in the crash "didn't suffer serious injuries". According to the Irish Sun, the group of four are suspected to have been involved in a burglary in Athy, Co. Kildare.
