This Irish County Named As ‘World’s Best Trip In 2019’ By National Geographic For Culture

This is some achievement for this western county and now, they can expect even more tourists after this award.

The National Geographic has announced that Galway is among the world's best in 2019 for Culture.

This award comes as Galway head closer to marking their terms as The European Capital of Culture in 2020.

“Throughout 2019, new community heritage and arts projects, such as pop-up culture cafés and funambulism workshops, will be rolling out in conventional and unexpected venues across Galway city and county," the world renowned magazine said.
