Met Éireann has issued two new weather warnings for wind and rain which will be valid until 2am on Monday.
The warnings cover six counties in total, with Cork, Kerry, Limerick and Tipperary under a rainfall warning from 10am on Sunday until 2am on Monday. The status yellow warning reads: 'Persistent rain today and tonight will give accumulations of 25 to 40mm, with localised flooding. Highest totals in mountainous regions and in the southwest.'

Meanwhile, a status yellow wind warning has been issued for Cork, Waterford and Wexford which is valid from 2pm on Sunday until 2am on Monday. It reads: 'This afternoon, this evening and for a time tonight, southwest winds will reach mean speeds of 50 to 65 Km/hr with gusts of up to 90 Km/hr, strongest in coastal areas.'

The warnings come off the back of wet and windy weather throughout Friday night and the early part of Saturday, which was brought on by Storm Aiden. You can read about the new warnings in more detail
