As of 5pm on Wednesday, Met Éireann has issued four updated snow-ice warnings which include the whole of Leinster, Munster, Connacht and Donegal and Monaghan.
First of all, the Status Red Update is a Snow-ice Warning for Dublin, Kildare, Louth, Wicklow and Meath where further disruptive heavy snow showers are expected overnight with significant accumulations.
It is in place until 12pm on Thursday.
A Status Orange Snow-ice Warning is in place for Carlow, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Wexford, Offaly, Westmeath, Cavan, Galway and Cork where the same is expected and is also in place until 12pm tomorrow
A Status Orange Snow-ice Warning is in place for all of Connacht, Cavan, Monaghan and Donegal where persistent snow will develop on Thursday night and will continue into Friday. Together with strong easterly winds this may lead to snow drifts.
That weather warning is in place from Thursday at 8pm until Friday at 12pm.
Finally, a Status Yellow snow-ice Warning is in place for Donegal, Monaghan, Leitrim, Mayo, Roscommon, Sligo, Clare, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary and Waterford where there will be scattered snow showers tonight and on Thursday morning with some accumulations.
That is being put into effect immediately and will remain in place until Thursday at 12pm.
The Status Red warning for Leinster and Munster has not changed since it was issued at 11am on Wednesday morning.
