Former Ireland Midfielder Liam Miller Has Passed Away Aged 36

Former Republic Of Ireland midfielder Liam Miller has passed away aged 36.

The Cork native played 21 times for his country between 2004 and 2009. He represented a number of teams at club level, most notably Celtic, Manchester United, Leeds United and Hibernian before returning home in 2015 to play for Cork City in the League Of Ireland. He also enjoyed spells in Australia and the United States. Miller had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in November.

Tributes have been pouring in for the popular star since the tragic news broke on Friday evening.

Liam was a great team mate & room mate. He was also a top opponent. But most of all he is one of the few people in football who I consider a true friend.
