According to The Irish Sun, dating site Match has found that the first day back in the office after the Christmas break see a hike of 37 per cent in activity online - boosting your chances of finding a Jamie Dornan lookalike.

The average user will send approximately 22 messages but will only get a reply to a third of them. (Phew, it's not just us.)

January 16th is the most common day for a first date and it's good news for the ladies, as men are 19 per cent more likely to respond to a message.
