As far as old Irish houses go - this is a truly special one.
Built in 1870’s, The Old Rectory is within walking distance of quaint Wicklow village, Ashford.
The elegant period home sits on four acres of grounds and gardens and even has its own equestrian facilities including a sand area and stables.
The four bedroom house has been maintained and transformed over the years and is now quaint, warm and inviting. Modern while retaining the charm of a period home.
Notice the sash windows, original doors and window shutters throughout.
Only downside here is that it'll set you back €1.5 million - but you know what? We bet it's worth every penny.
