With just a few days to go until Christmas, the panic is starting to set in for many of us when it comes to festive pressies.
If you're facing a last-minute dash around the shops, one great gift option is a game as it'll keep them entertained during the Christmas break – as well as in the new year.
With that in mind, here are seven of the most popular games going for the Xbox One at the moment... just make sure they don't have it already.

With Minecraft, you can explore, gather resources, build entire worlds and interact with friends online. It’s the second best-selling video game of all time, coming just after Tetris.

Gears of War 4 is a third-person fantasy shooter game set in a dystopian future. Resources are scarce and a group of outsiders are battling for survival after leaving the totalitarian societies ruled by the Coalition of Ordered Governments.
It is one of the best-selling video games in recent years, after FIFA 17, so it's bound to be a popular choice.
FIFA is the classic football game and each year, a new version comes out with better graphics, new features and updated information on the latest players and teams.
One for the soccer fan in your life.
Halo is an iconic fantasy first-person shooter series, focusing on a war between humanity and a group of aliens known as ‘The Covenant’.
There have been 12 games released so far, the most recent being Halo 5: Guardians. The next instalment is expected to come out in 2017.
Forza Horizon has been ranked as the “highest-rated racing game of this generation”.
Players can customise everything, race against their friends and, with the expansion pack, experience the thrill of driving in treacherous conditions in the snow, across frozen lakes, and in blizzards.

The classic first-person shooter game and cultural phenomenon, with 15 instalments so far. Infinity Warfare is the latest release but Black Ops III, the previous game, is a firm fan favourite.
Dead Rising is a zombie horror survival series.
Playing as the protagonist, photojournalist Frank West, the player must figure out who is behind the newest strain of intelligent, super-aggressive zombies and take them down, all while battling for their life.
This is the latest chapter in the hugely popular Dead Rising series, and a big gamer favourite.
