RTÉ’s ‘Asking For It’ Documentary Sparked A Huge Reaction On Twitter Last Night

Last night, RTÉ aired a documentary by Irish author Louise O'Neill which focused on sexual violence and consent in Ireland.

Examining our culture around sex and attitudes towards survivors of sexual violence, it was an eye-opening hour of television that addressed one of the most pertinent issues in Ireland today.

The show generated a huge response online, with the country's legal system and education around rape all coming under the microscope.
