Thousands of commuters from all around the country will be stuck on Monday February 20, as Bus Éireann unions have announced their intention to lead an all-out strike.

AA Roadwatch, we have a whole pile of information about the strike that we can share with you. Including dates, reasons and services affected.
1. How long is it going to last?
No one is certain just yet. A spokesman for the unions told AA Roadwatch that the strike kicks off on February 20 and will continue indefinitely.
2. Will all services be affected?
At present, according to the AA, the strike will be affecting all services, except for school buses.
This will affect all city services, cross-border services and commuter routes.
As well as this, it is being reported that tickets and information will be available from the Bus Éireann website, but not from kiosks and ticket machines at bus stations.
3. Are there any exceptions?
As mentioned above, school buses will not be affected.
As well as this, the X1 service between Dublin and Belfast, which is operated by both Bus Éireann and Northern Ireland’s Translink, has been confirmed to run as normal.
4. Are there other transport services available?
Yes, private bus companies are your saving grace here.
