Our humble little island of Ireland is known as the land of mythology, and where is more mystical and wondrous than The Wild Wild Wesht?
Brigit’s Garden, located in Roscahill County Galway, is a Garden and Celtic Heritage Centre made up of four main Celtic gardens alongside meadows, a lake, a fairy fort and native woodland paths.
Sounds out of this world, am I right? We've done a little digging to find out what it's really like...

The breath-taking locations in the four Celtic-themed gardens are ideal for an earthy twist on your big day.
Based around the seasonal calendar of Bealtaine, Lughnasa, Imbolc and Samhain – these four gardens offer stunning backdrops for wedding photos, and a relaxed and bohemian feel to what can be a stressful day.
The 11 acres contain several carefully maintained native Irish wildlife habitats, and following the signs though the garden, visitors can learn about Irish plants, flowers, forests, geology, history, and mythology.
To make this fun for children too, there's a treasure hunt available at reception, the answers to which can be found on signs throughout the grounds.
This place is an homage to St Brigit and the pre-Christian Brigit, celebrating the intertwining of Catholic and pagan traditions, culture, celebrations and ceremonies, science, and shamanism.
It features structures, sculptures, gardens, a calendar sundial, event facilities, meditation points, and places for children to run and explore.
If this all sounds like a dream, then there's simply nowhere else in Ireland that more suited to you than Brigit's Garden.
