Drunk Irish Man Arrested On Plane For Some Naughty Behaviour In Toilet

You can't get away with this type of behaviour on a plane in Ireland or Norway, or anywhere for that matter...

If you're not a smoker, you won't understand what cravings are like and how painful it is to stay on a flight for hours on end without a smoke.

And that gets even worse if you're already a nervous passenger.

But you can't do it, end of.

So, you can imagine that this Irish man got in a spot of bother when he was arrested by Norwegian police for smoking in the aeroplane toilet.

Norwegian newspaper, VG are saying that the man - who is believed to be in his late 20s - was allegedly drunk at the time of the arrest which took place on WEdnesday night.

He was held at Tromso Airport once he landed and was taken to a hotel in Oslo where he is expected to get a fine according to officers.

Inflight smoking has been banned by almost all airlines. All planes were labelled as smoke-free by the end of the 90s.

Some regulations are calling for a maximum fine of €25,000 for smoking on planes but several incidents normally only result in €500 or less fines.
