Do You Know How Many Drinks You Should Be Having Over Christmas?

It's Christmas time and the drinks are a-flowing... Moods are high, Michel Buble is on the radio (plz, it's my only flaw), and it's the time of year when you can have champagne for breakfast five days a week and no-one will bat an eyelid. 

But do you know your limit? Drink Aware is advising people to drink responsibly during the festive season and to be aware of the maximum number of drinks they should be having.

Men should be having no more than 17 drinks for the entire week and women should have no more than 11

Drink Aware has a handy calculator where you can figure out how much you've drank...

For example, I input that I was drinking at home and had one bottle of wine. The calculator told me I should take eight hours to be drinking that much alcohol, it was 564 calories and it counted as 7.5 units. 

Yikes - that leaves me 3.5 units left for the week so. It's hard to take note of what you're drinking when your glass gets refilled, but this makes it that little bit easier.
