William and Kate are officially on their way to Ireland, with details confirmed today for a three-day visit from the royal pair in March.
It had been
rumoured that William and Kate were planning a trip to Ireland this spring and today Kensington Palace has confirmed that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will cross the Irish Sea on Tuesday, March 3 before leaving the European Union again on Thursday, March 5.

You'd think they'd stick around for Paddy's Day, wouldn't you? Rumours circulated last month that the couple were planning a visit to both Dublin and Cork during their spring jaunt but as of yet, no details have been confirmed of where they will be based.
It has of course been a hectic time for William and Kate, having had to deal with one of the most publicised departures of recent times. And aside from Brexit, they've also had to handle Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's exit from the royal family.
A trip to these shores is probably just what William and Kate need, although they're likely to be kept busy during their stay. No doubt that whoever is in Government will be on the phone to Joe Canning to get involved again after he
wowed Harry and Meghan a couple of years ago.
