CMO Tony Holohan to brief party leaders over Level 5 recommendation.

The meeting will be to show the reasons why NPHET has recommended entering level 5 for six weeks. This comes after the continuously rising number of positive COVID cases. Dr. Holohan will be joined by Dr. Ronan Glynn and Professor Philip Nolan for the meeting. If level 5 was to be implemented it would mean no visitors to your house, no gatherings, essential retail only along with restricted movement. Eamon Ryan said they "don't want to rush in" as he arrived for the meeting. https://twitter.com/newschambers/status/1317464077338365952?s=20 A decision to move to Level 5 would require a meeting of the wider Cabinet, but nothing like that has been planned as of yet. The meeting is currently underway and we will keep you updated with any further announcements.
