The Christmas blow-drys are set to stay intact, as Met Eireann reveals it will be a mostly mild and dry Christmas Day.
Temperatures today (Dec 24) range from 6 - 12 degrees celsius, and the mild weather will continue into Christmas and Stephen's Day.
Met Eireann said: "Maximum temperatures (on Christmas Eve) will range from 6 to 12 Celsius, coldest in the north and mildest in the southwest, with light to moderate southeasterly breezes, freshening in western coastal areas. Fog patches also, with the risk of some dense pockets.
"Christmas Day will be dry in most areas, but cloudy, with a little patchy drizzle possible, especially along southern coasts.
"Mist and fog patches also, with some fog in inland areas during the morning, becoming confined mainly to southern coasts during the day.
"Mild, with maximum temperatures of 10 to 12 Celsius, in moderate south to southeast winds, fresh in Atlantic coastal areas."

Looking forward to the rest of the week, it will be mild with a little drizzle now and again.
Met Eireann continued: "Thursday will continue mostly cloudy with patchy drizzle in places a few bright intervals. Highest temperatures of 8 to 10 degrees with light variable breezes.
"On Friday, rain will develop in the west during the morning and will spread eastwards to all areas. Amounts will be fairly small.
"Highest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees with light to moderate southerly breezes.
"Next weekend will continue mostly cloudy with some rain or drizzle at times.
"Through the coming week, the nights will be mostly frost-free."
