The 25 Cheapest Airlines In The World By Cost Per Mile Have Just Been Revealed

The sums have been added up and the world's cheapest airlines by mile in 2018 have just been unveiled.

According to the Global Flight Pricing report by travel planning website Rome2Rio, which analysed ticket sales in more than 200 airlines over the course of two months, these are the 25 cheapest airlines:

3. Indonesia AirAsia
4. Primera Air
5. IndiGo Airlines
6. Etihad
7. Ryanair
8. Qantas
9. WOW air
10. Virgin Australia
11. Oman Air
12. Jet Airways
13. Air India Limited
14. Sri Lankan Airlines
15. Qatar Airways
16. Hainan
17. Kuwait Airways
18. AirAsia Philippines
19. Royal Brunei Airlines
20. China Southern Airlines
21. Lion Mentari Airlines
22. Jetstar
23. Gulf Air Bahrain
24. Cebu Pacific
25. Emirates

Asian airlines seem to provide the best value for money, holding three of the top spots. 

In Europe, Ryanair is the cheapest airline by mile, coming in seventh place, followed by WOW air in ninth place.
