BREAKING: ‘Royle Family’, ‘Fast Show’ And ‘Mrs Merton’ Star Caroline Aherne Has Died Aged 52

Actress and comedian Caroline Aherne has died at the age of 52, following a battle with lung cancer.

Her publicist confirmed the news today.

She was best known for her roles – both on camera and behind the scenes – in The Royle Family, The Fast Show and Mrs Merton. She was also the narrator of Gogglebox, alongside frequent collaborator Craig Cash.
