The legendary broadcaster died suddenly on Thursday last.
According to
funeral arrangements for the late great radio presenter, she will be laid to rest on Tuesday, January 7th 2020.
Found at her home on Thursday, the 69-year-old passed away in her sleep.
The funeral is set to take place at St Brigid’s Church in Kill Co Kildare on Tuesday at midday. This will be followed by a private burial.

“Finucane Clare, Marian, Punchestown, Co. Kildare, January 2nd 2020. Peacefully, at home. Loving wife of John and mother of jack and the late Sinéad. Will be dearly missed by her loving family, relatives, colleagues and friends.
Funeral arriving to St Brigid’s Church, Kill on Tuesday 7th for Funeral Mass at 12.00 noon, followed by private burial. No flowers, by request.”
Heartfelt tributes have poured in since the news broke during the week, with a special segment dedicated to her honour on
last night’s Late Late Show.
President Michael D Higgins released a statement on her passing. Beginning by saying that the country “has lost a deeply respected, trusted and much loved broadcaster”, he spoke of her career and role in Irish broadcasting.

He went on to add that: “she was one of the very early exemplars to those who sought a proper representation of women in broadcasting.”
